That sounds like an Android device to me.

If you can connect to the Google Play Store from the tablet, get the MIT Companion app and run it on the tablet.
Then when you use the laptop to code a Project on the ai2 web site, ask it to connect to a Companion.
Type the 6 letter connection code into the tablet's Companion app, and you should be good to go.
