I used https://legacy.appinventor.mit.edu/ to compile, but I tested it on code2 and it works for me there.

Where did you get that from?
It has looked like this for over a couple of months—ever since a message appeared stating that my AI2 account was moving to the new server.
The old ai2.appinventor.mit.edu is now legacy.appinventor.mit.edu. It is not receiving updates and the buildservers are not running (though I can turn them on). @Joejsanz I suspect that the migration failed for your account. I will look into it and set the system to try again the next time you login.
@Joejsanz I have reset your migration status. If you logout and login again, another migration should be attempted.
